The Greatest Loser's Dolvett Quince Blogs Episode 2
Dolvett Quince, Vinny Hickerson, Courtney Rainville Hey everybody! We're only within the second episode ofThe Greatest Loser's12th season which is already super intense! The show certainly does a flawless job of taking the essence and importance of that continues in the ranch using the trainers and also the participants. Personally i think as if I'm reliving my experience once again also it feels pretty incredible! It was brilliant to achieve the gym open just for a short time now. Even though participants felt otherwise, it was vital to allow them to have that "real existence" dilemma around the ranch. After they leave the ranch and return to their lives the will need to find time for you to workout. It jogs my memory from the fitness Used to do inside my studio in Atlanta and also the struggle I'd with a few clients and coping with their agendas. It really works exactly the same using the participants. They need to learn to make amount of time in their lives to workout and eat clean, regardless of what....NO EXCUSES! This is exactly what I usually said excitedly day in and day trip. I needed these phones leave the ranch in not just the very best shape possible however with completely transformed habits so that they could maintain the advantages of almost all their effort. I needed these phones continue being positive and healthy for that relaxation of the lives so that as you saw for a few of the participants with Dr. Huizenga, it had been dependent on existence and dying. It had been certainly a real possibility look for everybody involved! The difficulties is one of my personal favorite facets of the show. Now was water maze. The maze looked relatively simple in the beginning but that switched to be a challenge for the teams. Making use of your own bodyweight is definitely an excellent workout this is exactly why strength training is extremely effective. The weigh-in was a combination of feelings but overall I had been happy with my team. In a few days it's National football league week in the ranch. We now have National football league celebrities Came Brees, Eric Dickerson, Tony Gonzalez, Clay Matthews, Shawne Merriman and Tim Tebow. I can not wait to look at together with everyone so still stay updated! -Dolvett
'Dead Island' Movie, Inspired By Video Game Trailer, Lands At Lionsgate
"Dead Island," the Techland and Deep Silver survival horror video game that hit consoles earlier this month, isn't finished with its global infection campaign. The gaming world, it seems, is not big enough to contain this zombie apocalypse: now, "Dead Island" is set to devour the big screen as well. Lionsgate has optioned the "Dead Island" movie rights from Deep Silver. But by the sound of things, it seems that the main inspiration for the "Dead Island" film won't be the game itself, but the preliminary "Dead Island" trailer that went viral earlier this year. "Like the hundreds of journalists and millions of fans who were so passionate and vocal about the Dead Island trailer, we too were awestruck," said Lionsgate's Joe Drake in a press release, which notes that "the trailer will serve as [the movie's] primary creative inspiration." The trailer can be seen here in case you need a refresher. The story of the video game itself, of course, has little to nothing to do with the "Dead Island" trailer's plot, which chronicles the final few moments of a little girl's life in rewind. The idea of telling a "Dead Island" film from finish to start is kind of cool sort of the "Memento" of zombie flicks, if you will but is it a misstep to try to recapture that trailer's lightning? Is it even possible to recapture that lightning? Seems to me that the film would be better served feasting on the meat of the actual game, but admittedly, I haven't played it just yet. If you've played the game already, what do you think: is the trailer enough to sustain a full-fledged "Dead Island" movie, or should producers take a closer look at the game itself for their inspiration? If you aren't familiar with the source material, take a look at 20 minutes of "Dead Island" gameplay footage courtesy of MTV Multiplayer: [via Entertainment Weekly]Watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Megavideo

'Contagion' goes viral
Warner Bros.' 'Contagion' nabbed $22.4 million last weekend. The last weekend's domestic B.O. race will be a mixed bag of fine and -- let's be genuine -- abysmal performances from wide releases. Beginning while using good, Warner Bros.' "Contagion" acquired $22.4 million, which was in line with last year's hearty publish-Labor Day photos "The CityInch ($23.8 million) and "The Social MediaInch ($22.4 million). Even Lionsgate's "Warrior," getting a $5.2 million opening, has possible ways to grow, due to the film's positive critical and audience reactions. Now for the bad. Some wide releases -Body studio pic, one independent -- flatlined throughout opening weekend: Sony's "Bucky Larson: Born to become Star" was one of the least expensive-grossing debuts in recent memory for just about any studio wide release, with only $1.4 million, while indie distrib Bubble Factory needed an abnormally aggressive wide-release approach having its monster movie "Creature," which continued 1,507 locations for just about any paltry $327,000 -- the worst wide release ever. It is not uncommon for review-challenged films striking theaters throughout late August or early fall that period features a status to become a drop zone as students go back to school. But adult-skewing counterprogrammers (i.e. "Contagion") could also find success throughout the timeframe, and people trying to find early honours buzz can beat the hurry of fourth-quarter product. "We grown the seed a couple of days ago,Inch states Lionsgate distribution topper David Spitz, "which we simply hope that audiences still respond." Eddie Murphy Confirmed As Oscar Host
He'll wrangle the 84th Academy AwardsIt was but a rumour over the weekend, but on Tuesday it became true: Eddie Murphy has been officially hired to host the 84th Academy Awards, going solo on stage next February. The 2012 show's producers, Brett Ratner and Don Mischer, announced the decision via the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Naturally, there was backslappery all round... Eddie is a comedic genius, one of the greatest and most influential live performers ever, says Ratner in the press release. With his love of movies, history of crafting unforgettable characters and his iconic performances - especially on stage - I know he will bring excitement, spontaneity and tremendous heart to the show Don and I want to produce in February. Murphy seems delighted with the idea too: I am enormously honoured to join the great list of past Academy Award hosts from Hope and Carson to Crystal, Martin and Goldberg, among others, said Murphy. I'm looking forward to working with Brett and Don on creating a show that is enjoyable for both the fans at home and for the audience at the Kodak Theatre as we all come together to celebrate and recognize the great film contributions and collaborations from the past year. The choice, of course, is less of a shocker given his past stand-up experience and the fact that he just worked with Ratner on crime comedy drama Tower Heist. But if you're wondering what to expect from Murphy during his stint, look no further than what we were able to discern about his plans. The Oscar ceremony goes down on February 26. What say you lot? Now he's all official and such, do you love the idea? Hate it? Speak your brains!
